William Araluce Architect was born in Santa Barbara, California and received his Bachelor of Architecture with highest honors from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obisbo in 1976. In his early career, William began working with leading Architectural Firms in the City of San Francisco and Santa Barbara before opening up his own practice in Santa Barbara in 1983. He has completed projects in California, Arizona, and Hawaii.
William has assumed many leading architectural roles as a member of various local Architectural Design Review boards. Currently, he is the Chairman for the City of Carpinteria Architectural Review Board. In the past, he has written design guidelines for City of Carpinteria, Hollister Ranch, and Hope Ranch communities. Additionally, he has helped produce the General Plan for the City of Carpinteria which serves as the Primary Architectural Planning Policy Document in representing the community’s collective vision for preserving and improving the quality of life and design within the Carpinteria Valley.
